I have such a special place in my heart for this Senior Portrait Session with Ellie. Her family hired me to take their Christmas card photos three years ago when I started pursuing photography professionally. I was still editing in iPhoto at the time (yikes). Needless to say, when I look back on those images, I am thankful for how far I’ve come! But as the years have gone by, Ellie’s family has continued to book with me again and again. There’s something to be said for those people who root for you, cheer you on, and fan the flame of your dreams. Ellie and her family are that for me.
When they asked me to shoot Ellie’s senior photos, I was beyond excited! These images are still some of my favorites. All because of a girl who believed in me and what I could do behind the camera.
I hope that as you scroll through this session you pause to think of the people in your life that you can root for, cheer on, and help fan the flame of their dream. Because community, love, and compassion are what we could all use a little more of at the end of the day, right? I hope you enjoy!
